01Can I request an appointment online?+
Yes. The form sends a non-urgent request. It is not a confirmed booking; reception will contact you about suitability and availability.
02Is a referral letter required?+
Bring or send the referral letter requested by the practice. Healthcare professionals can use the dedicated referral page and forms.
03What should I bring?+
Bring previous reports, actual MRI or CT images where available, EEG results, school or therapy reports, medicine details and safe videos of typical episodes.
04What age range does the practice treat?+
Children and adolescents from birth to 18 years.
05What does a consultation cost?+
For current consultation fees, medical aid information and account enquiries, please contact reception.
06Does the practice perform EEG and neurophysiology?+
Yes. Services include routine, sleep-deprived, prolonged, video and ambulatory EEG; NCS/EMG; visual and auditory evoked potentials; and paediatric sleep studies when appropriate.
07Is EEG painful or does it put electricity into the brain?+
No. Scalp electrodes record activity. They do not deliver electricity. The paste or electrode application may feel unfamiliar but EEG is non-invasive.
08Are sleep studies the same as EEG?+
No. A sleep study measures sleep and breathing across the night. EEG mainly records brain electrical activity, although a sleep study may use some scalp sensors.
09When is the practice open?+
Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-16:00. Weekends and public holidays are closed; the practice remains open through lunch.
10Is this website for emergencies?+
No. Use the nearest emergency unit or local emergency services for urgent or severe symptoms.
11Does a form create a doctor-patient relationship?+
No. Reading the website or submitting a form does not create a doctor-patient relationship or confirm an appointment.
